Here is the parody of McCain's "Celebrity" ad with Paris Hilton announcing her energy policy. Actually, not too bad of a plan, if you ask me. Let's entertain Obama's incentives for new energy sources, which will take somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 years before any real impact is seen, and dramatically increase our offshore oil driling, which will have a much faster impact.
Considering that mother earth emits 10 times more oil into the oceans that is spilled in all oil rig and shipping accidents combined, there is no downside to more drilling. And rigs outside our 7 mile border will be over the horizon, so as not to spoil the view for any beach dwellers. Of course, it will mean more jobs for American oil industry workers, which might mean more profits for the oil industry, which is of course a bad thing. Better those profits go to OPEC or to Venezuela, at least if would seem so if you listen to Obama.

i love it.
Whether or not the McCain ad was seen as a smart idea or not, he's recieved more attention with it than he has over the last few months with all his other efforts.
and BTW, maybe this solves McCain's VP selection issue....

Given that the Chinese already are exploring for oil in the Florida straits with the help of the Cubans, failing to lift the ban on offshore drilling means that foreigners get the oi offshore in Florida for which our environmentalist wackos won't permit us to explore.
