What we're listening to in NYC today...

Harlem's crankiest Congressman decides against divorcing his wife. Charlie Rangel yelled at a Post caller who wanted more info. He also denies any marital strife to The Daily News.

Former govs Cuomo, Pataki and...Spitzer (in his first public action since, well, you know what) throw their support behind the dying Sun.

Looking at more important issues, New York's current governor aims to fix up Penn Station while turning it over to the PA while also threatening to kill it.

Embattled Queens Assemblyman Anthony Seminerio declares charges against are 'stupid' while The Sun follows the money to the MediSys hospital system. They also follow the charges themselves suggesting that US Attorney Michael Garcia might do well to run for Governor once his service in the Bush Administration are up.

Former Brooklyn Councilman Kendall Stewart's chief-of-staff Asquith Reid is copping a plea to avoid up to 80 years in jail for steal $145K in tax money meant for charity.

Finally, polls in the Garden state show that Barack Obama's lead has shrunk to single digits putting the traditionally blue state in play.

Meanwhile, the junior senator from Illinois has opted not to appear on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live tonight, while Tina Fey might return to the show as Gov. Sarah Palin.

Speaking of the Governor, new polls show that she's attracting more men to the ticket than women.
