Democrats in Congress pushing health care “reform” are looking more dubious by the day. Still spewing the same talking points from last year – even though we are led to believe this is a different, more acceptable bill – are trying to convince the public and themselves that Obamacare is everything and more than what the President promised.
But when you take a look at the 1,000+ pages of proposed law, as difficult as that may be, it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to see that none of the President’s promises will be kept and in fact – will do the opposite. Signing into law Obamacare will be a devastating blow to the economy, the medical industry, medical innovation, health insurance, drug companies, the public and the world – this is crystal clear. (If only this statement was a scare tactic instead of being just scary, I wouldn’t be so concerned.)...

I apologize for beating a dead horse, but the saga continues as the White House will do anything to get their beloved health care “reform” bill passed, and look as non-partisan as possible in the meantime. It doesn’t matter that the American people are in a literal revolt over the proposed bill, proceed the White House must!
The President purports to have a starting point for health care reform, one from which the Republicans can share their ideas, topics can be debated, concessions can be made, and American health care can be transformed. This is what occurred last year on the floors of Congress between the Democrats.
Democrats in power pushed their version of “reform” while Republican measures weren’t even debated let alone included in the bill – this is for one reason and one reason only — because the Democrats didn’t need the Republican vote to get the bill passed. They spent months debating each other for every single Democrat to agree and as you well know, bribed certain members to get enough Aye votes in the end (lucky for us it took them too long).
Everything changed when Scott Brown was elected to the Senate, now the Democrats still need every single Democrat to agree, plus one Republican — to pass the bill. So if the President and/or Democrats can offer that one special deal, that one concession to a maverick Republican, the deal is done. Plain and simple, this is what we are up against – politicians with complete disregard for the wishes of the American people.

If you call yourself a concerned citizen you should be outraged – I am. Now at a time of fiscal crisis when Washington should be tightening its belt and limiting its budget to the essentials, it has proposed an increase in funding (to the tune of $10 million) to an already expensive and dubious program dubbed “Title X”.
In the 2010 proposed budget the President wants the tax payer to spend a whopping $327 million in total on “family planning” which includes direct funds to abortions here in the United States and globally, and direct funds to highly controversial and unproven sexual education programs to children as young as the age of five.
Democrats and Republicans were in an uproar a few months ago over federal dollars paying for abortions in the healthcare “reform” bill, where is the uproar over Title X now? In study after study, abortion promoting industries have failed to combat teen pregnancy levels and sexually transmitted infections – we should be eliminating the program not adding funds.
(Hat- tip Susan B. Anthony List) Obama’s proposed budget will fund the following organizations under Title X:

The President and Congress poured close to $800 billion into the country in last year’s “Stimulus Bill” meant to create jobs and spur a spiraling economy. Supporters of the bill say it saved us from delving further into economic downfall and using the Obama “saved or created” model claim it saved or created — fill in the blank it could be any number — jobs. Most economists (unless you work for the White House) call it an ineffective spending free- for- all that has created zero jobs, increased unemployment rates to double digits, and shot the deficit to an all time high.
This year’s “Job’s bill” will cost an estimated $85 billion and despite the different catch phrase, it will do essentially the same thing – with less money—which is funnel billions of dollars to state governments to fund entitlement programs and further extend unemployment benefits. Add several hundred pork barrel spending gimmicks by politically connected officials on dumb wasteful pet projects that will not create a single job in the private sector, the sector of the economy that accounts for 80% of all new jobs, and we have an unemployment catastrophe on our hands - yet again.

Republicans across New York are practically salivating at the prospect of turning New York red at the Governor’s mansion, United States Senate, and at tons of state and local races from Broome to Queens County. It’s the kind of excitement that should raise the brow of New York’s Senator Chuck Schumer, former Chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, but the GOP need not worry, he’s one of those politicians so self absorbed that if he was playing right field he wouldn’t see a pop-up until it hit him in the face!
Schumer is also plenty busy trying to secure his party’s leadership (now that polls show the current majority leader is about to lose his seat in a landslide) and is fully immersed in partisan behind closed door discussions that would, he hopes, transform the shape of American healthcare from a market driven industry to a government-run universal program.

Undoing all the misinformation and damage that global warming fear mongers have created is a difficult task indeed. Unless you are of the mindset that government control of worldwide energy consumption via taxation and redistribution of wealth is a good thing, you should understand the enormous fraud that has taken place in the world today.
Thanks to famous actors and ideologues such as Al Gore, Maurice Strong, Barack Obama and other propagandists, who ensued a campaign more than a decade ago to undermine science, avoid contention, and convince the world that man-made “global warming” will dangerously impact the planet unless the world acts immediately, Americans at the rate of 3 to 1 think man is more responsible for global warming than naturally occurring causes.

Before the State of the Union yesterday, I watched Rep. Joe Wilson (who famously yelled “You lie!” the last time Obama addressed Congress) on Neil Cavuto’s show, who was there to discuss the upcoming speech by the President. Mr. Wilson proved to be a humble guest by profusely apologizing (yet again) for his outburst, and by politely disagreeing with the President’s spending policies during a short two or three minute interview that exuded sincerity.
It was a sharp contrast from President Obama’s State of the Union address, head held high, a few hours later, where the same annoying arrogance permeated the speech, so much so that a dumb little interview showed more humility on the part of Mr. Wilson for one mistake, than Obama showed during his 70 minutes long speech for big mistakes that affect us all. (I have no choice but conclude that Mr. Wilson has more integrity in his pinky toe than President Obama.)
Last year the President’s idea of fixing problems catapulted the deficit into unknown and dangerous territory. The Wall Street Journal reports that according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office “over the first three years of the Obama Presidency, 2009-2011, the federal government will borrow an estimated $3.7 trillion. That is more than the entire accumulated national debt for the first 225 years of U.S. history.”

Every year on January 22 citizens across the nation March for Life in Washington D.C. to protest the 1973 decision of the US Supreme Court that legalized abortion on demand.
And every year the media treats the story as insignificant.
Just imagine if 300,000 people coalesced in Washington D.C. to protest so-called global warming, the amount of exposure they would have received.
Even the much acclaimed “fair & balanced” FOX news channel could barely muster the word “thousands” when reporting on the volume of the March (the reality is hundreds of thousands of people attended).
The only cable television channel that covered the March was EWTN thankfully; otherwise those unable to make the event, though strongly supportive of reversing Roe v. Wade, can now know what took place this year, and whether anyone in Washington is listening.

Oil and insurance companies are placed on the back burner, as the Obama administration ushers in a new boogeyman – the banking industry. Sure, Bush, Cheney and Rove are still the reasons why the economy tanked in 08 and 09, if you believe the left, but for now, the White house will focus its blame on the bankers. So, listen up, America, the President is trying to communicate a message – it is the banking industry’s fault for the bad economy.
Does the President really expect the American people to believe now that regulating banks will prevent another economic meltdown?
Two weeks ago if Congress did not pass healthcare “reform” America would have been unable to contain its debt; two months ago if Congress did not pass Cap and Trade carbon dioxide would have burned up the earth; four months ago FOX news was not a real news organization; and ten months ago, if Congress did not pass the Stimulus bill, unemployment would have risen above 8%. (Do you see the scare tactic pattern?)
The latest attacks on the banking industry is just a poor excuse to tax the hell out of the industry so that the Federal government can have more money to spend, and can control how bankers do business. Even worse than that, it mixes politics with money...

One does not have to be a political mastermind to see what is happening in America today. Glenn Beck’s claim that the Obama administration’s goal is to transform the Nation in a way that mirrors Hugo Chavez’ take- over of Venezuela, indeed, has validity. The amount of government control and over the top spending that the Obama White house and the Democrat controlled Congress have assumed in one year is unprecedented and will take many years to salvage.
Do the American people have the political will to show President Obama and Congress that they see right through their unfair class warfare games and socialist-style spread the wealth mentality? The answer is a resounding YES.
Take the race for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts as a prime example of how real the uproar against government largesse is. The U.S. Senate seat opened up by the passing of Democrat and healthcare “reform” advocate Sen. Ted Kennedy was never thought to be an at-risk seat for Democrats, until now...
