“Duty, Honor, Country” is the way Brigadier General Arthur Jackson closes his letter addressed “Dear Fellow Republican” dated July 2010, yet there is not one shred of duty, honor, or country comprised in the letter that falsely smears a fellow decorated U.S. Army Veteran, Republican Anthony “Tony” Melé, candidate for U.S. Congress.
What the good general neglects to disclose in his letter distributed to Republicans residing in New York’s District 17, is his avid support for Republican York Kleinhandler for Congress, Tony Melé’s GOP primary opponent.

Shameless is the best way to describe Democrat Rep. John Hall “who takes a whack” at his Republican opponent Nan Hayworth (Congressional District 19) in this video advertisement that accuses Hayworth of being an apologist for BP. What did Hayworth do to warrant this charge? She set forth a position at her campaign website regarding energy exploration on land and sea using the best, environmentally sound technology, and (all of a sudden) according to Hall, she is a cheerleader for BP.
BP is the British owned energy company that suffered a fatal explosion on or about April 22, causing an oil spill in the Gulf Mexico that dwarfs the 1989 Exxon spill at Alaska’s Prince William Sound. One difference between the two disasters is the Exxon rig had a finite amount of oil to spill, whereas at the Gulf of Mexico, vulnerable oil is vast, continuous, and spilling at the rate of millions of gallons a day.
Nan Hayworth responding with a video advertisement decrying Hall (rightfully so) for spending tax payer dollars to fund his campaign with glossy literature and misleading advertisements, Hayworth does a little whacking of her own.
John Hall, another grandstanding Democrat, who never lets a crisis go by without blaming Republicans
Any good politician can utilize coherent arguments to contrast opposing positions, but what Hall does in this instance is utilize an international disaster to demoralize a political opponent at the tax payer expense. Hall’s meritless assertions show a lack of appreciation for the severity of the oil spill, and show such an insensitivity towards the real lives affected by this tragedy, that his actions ought to be a wake-up call to voters. Debating issues is one thing, baseless attacks for personal gain is quite another.
Nan Hayworth has called on Hall to debate the issues:

Republican decision-makers in New York missed the boat – big time.
The U.S. Senate junior position currently held by a one-time “conservative” Democrat turned mouth-piece for Sen. Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, is probably the weakest seat in the state. According to a June 14 Sienna College poll, Gillibrand’s favorability rating is down six points from last month to a dismal 36%. Here is the perfect opportunity to show the rest of the country that even liberal New York is ripe for upheaval.
New York State Conservative Party got it right when they chose former Congressman Joe DioGuardi as their designated candidate to run against Gillibrand. DioGuardi has a long record of supporting a transparent government that works for the people not at their expense, and in an era of public demands for government restraint, Joe DioGuardi is the obvious choice.

There is no other Democrat politician in New York that is loathed more than Sen. Charles Schumer. One thinks of Schumer, one knows he is a mover and shaker in progressive politics, right up there with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. These politicians are old pros, they have their special interest base, corporate deals, campaign pay-offs and years of comfortable incumbency, that has created enough momentum for them to keep the jobs they have, but certainly do not deserve.
With Obama at its helm, Democrat officials are committed to advancing a socialist-like, government consuming culture that shifts control and power from the individual to a massive and growing government. This government takes money away from the working man and redistributes it to others, causing others to become addicted to government hand-outs that moves- them to vote for the government that pays their way. Democrats clearly understand that the more services and funds that are doled-out, the more Democrats get voted into office.
There is light at the end of the tunnel. America is the home of the brave where “WE THE PEOPLE” are empowered by the protections provided in the U.S. Constitution, and are mostly unafraid to be masters of their own design, not slaves to a giving government. It is the ingenuity of the American people and the opportunities that are afforded in a free market that makes America exceptional, a uniqueness that few are willing to give up, and many are willing to fight for.
One of the thinkers behind America’s most famous document, Thomas Jefferson, once opined:

Supporting American troops and Veterans comes natural for me. So when I received word that I would be given a press ticket for the upcoming Iraq Vets For Congress Fundraiser Dinner on June 21 aboard the USS Intrepid (no less!) I jumped so high in excitement, I nearly hit my head on the ceiling.
My oldest brother John left home to serve in the U.S. Air Force when I was four years old. My favorite recollection is a day before Christmas when the family prepared a welcoming party complete with banners, American flags and balloons — “Johnnie’s coming home!” — we scrambled.

In political circles, his name is dirt and his hand shake is weak, yes, you guessed it – U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer, progressive Democrat from New York. Some like to refer to him as “Chucky” after the “antagonist” character in a series of horror films about “Chucky” the “killer doll.”
Sure, Schumer is a “killer” to the American dream of opportunity and options, and a “doll” for every special interest that shares his philosophy of “what can you do for me?” but even more sinister than that, the gross level of money and power involved in this instance places Schumer on the top of the list of the most corrupt of corrupt.
Recently hand-picked to be a “conferee” that decides how legislation is merged from Senate and House versions of banking reform, Schumer is apparently towing the line with one of his biggest financial backers – Wall Street – showing how influential financial contributions are and highlighting Schumer’s blatant conflict of interest. (A double- whammy!)
New York’s Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., is the leading recipient among the Senate conferees with $16.7 million in contributions over his career. Schumer has long been an ally of the New York-based financial industry, but has been remarkably quiet as Congress has focused on reforming Wall Street. Schumer remains in support of the bill despite hometown pressure from industry friends, campaign contributors and Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

If you are looking to throw your support behind a candidate who understands the U.S. Constitution — find Anthony Melé.
That is why Melé is running for Congress in New York’s 17th District (representing parts of Rockland, Bronx, and Westchester counties) to return the direction of the state of government to one that mirrors what the Founding Fathers intended.
Anthony Melé is one of just a few congressional candidates that refer to the U.S. Constitution to defend his policy positions. (When was the last time you saw a sitting representative do that?) His opinions are on the mark; he supports low taxes, personal responsibility, and small government.
Even if one disagrees with a position set forth by Melé, he atleast stands on conviction and references the letter of the law. Case in point, some in the electorate call for “term limits” as a way to disassemble laziness in government. Incumbents stay elected sometimes because their position of power facilitates that outcome. When addressing this question, Melé refers to Amendment XX of the U.S. Constitution where term limit provisions are already determined – “Remember, Raquel, they were smart guys,” he says....

Arizona citizens are up in arms. Who can blame them? Federal officials, liberals, and the pissant media (usually all one in the same) are working to undermine what is clearly Arizona state law – voted by the state legislature – and favored by the majority of the People.
On April 23, 2010, Arizona Governor Jan Brewer signed the “nation’s toughest bill on illegal immigration” as described by the New York Times designed to “identify, prosecute and deport illegal immigrants.”

It’s no secret Democrat Leaders will fall faster than a house of cards in the wind in November 2010.
Even the ones at the very top are vulnerable. Take current Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) for instance, the king pin of the unpopular health care redistribution law, and 10 year incumbent with a 7 ½ million dollar war chest, is up for re-election.
Despite a favorable history with the voters, Reid is more than down in the polls, heck, he will lose most predict. In a match-up with three different GOP contenders Reid cannot manage 50% approval, clearly voters in the State of Nevada are noticing the empty rhetoric coming from Reid.
Sue Lowden, ex-chairman of the Nevada Republican Party, earns 52% of the vote to Reid’s 39%. Businessman Danny Tarkanian gets 51% support to Reid’s 41%. Former Assemblywoman Sharron Angle wins 48% to 40% for the Democratic incumbent. Rasmussen Reports
New Yorkers should take a closer look at unseating their very own Democrat Leader in the U.S. Senate, Chuck Schumer. Schumer is positioned to become the newest Senate Majority Leader if the Republicans fail to take control. This is problematic because Schumer will do more damage to traditional American values than Reid could ever dream of. And as Senate Majority Leader, would wield the type of partisan power Schumer has been waiting long and hard for.

Kirsten Gillibrand got lucky when she landed a US Senatorial job in early 2009. Handpicked by (soon departing) New York Governor Paterson, she has disappointed some Democrats for her political lunge to the progressive left and blind allegiance to the Democrat Party.
The previous year in ’08 she was campaigning for re-election to US Congress – District 20. She expressed during a commercial spot that she would represent all the people, “Democrats and Republicans” in exchange for their vote. Known at the time for being “moderate” it surprised many when, in just two short years, her perspective would change so dramatically.
Gillibrand was one of just a handful of members to support continued federal funding of ACORN, even though the outfit was exposed for voter fraud and intimidation, among other nefarious acts, and is being investigated by federal prosecutors. Explaining away her strange endorsement, Gillibrand’s response that ACORN does “a lot of good” to an on-the-spot question posed by a FOX News reporter, comes off as more partisan than concerned. (Incidentally, FOX News was the only television News station to initially cover the story, the pissant media don’t like to expose their own.)
Goldman Sachs, currently facing federal fraud charges does a lot of good too, but you won’t see Gillibrand or any other puppet of the Democrat left, defending them any time soon...
