"I will concede thou, Obama will win if McCain picks a moderate Pro-Choice as his VP today."

So, Jim, are you saying that McCain now wins because he picked a pro-life candidate or are you just saying "he won't lose" now?

Also, if your theory is so accurate, what happened to John Faso's candidacy?

Obama' s bounce in the Gallup daily tracking poll is 8 points today. However, Palin will neutralize that very quickly. - Robert Hornak

That's what campaigns are for Andrew. It's up to McCain and his team to paint that picture of Obama for the voters.

They can slam him for his vapid wish list that he substitutes for an agenda. For his clear inexperience and for his total hypocrisy.

I can't get over his claims that he was right about Iraq and McCain wrong. What a laugh. If it were up to Big O we would have withdrawn in 90 days over a year ago in the most irresponsible of fashions. He may have called for a timetable but he got the timing completely wrong.

McCain on the other hand was willing to wait for the timing to be right. Patience is one of the strongest qualities of a real leader.

Obama seems ready to run from conflict at the first hint of trouble. There is something to be said for sticking to your commitments for the long haul even when they make things uncomfortable for you politically. That is a concept Obama doesn't seem to get. - Robert Hornak

I don't think it can be both ...

To expound ever so slightly on what Robert said ... If - and that's the key word here, "IF" - Americans DO see Obama for the raging leftist that he is, then even a Pro-Choice running mate for Senator McCain won't matter in the final analysis.

The point to be made here is that enough of the mainstream media - who are as cozy and cuddly with the messiah as with any candidate I have ever seen - will almost certainly portray Senator Obama's positions as straight up the middle and mainstream. Indeed, those of us who actually make use of the synapses in our brain buckets KNOW how liberal Obama is, but the grand whitewash of convincing the knee-jerk masses that Obama is mainstream (without even really trying) will play a HUGE part.

Be ready to hear the word "conservative" bandied about, in one context or another, along with the word "McCain." Prepare NOT to hear the word "liberal" and "Obama" even whispered in the same paragraph.

I heard Obama's speech tonight. I will say unequivocally that he is a cue-card demon. He OWNS the teleprompter. He is "the Beatles" of bumper sticker politics and tonight may well have been his "Sgt. Pepper." Clearly, to those of us who pay attention and deal with real life seriously, his acceptance speech was a liberal's dream. WE can see clearly.

The question is ... will enough see him for the raging liberal he really is?

So Jim, first let me say I disagree with your bounce predictions. It was a good speech stylistically and will give him a 10 point lead by Monday. However, due to the lack of substance and the coming GOP convention that lead wil quickly disappear.

Second, what exactly are you saying here? That Americans see Obama for the ultra-liberal he really is and McCain will win big, BUT if McCain picks a pro-choice conservative for veep then he will lose?

I need a deeper explanation of that analysis. Thanks. - Robert Hornak

It is for McCain to win this thing (Must go Pro-Life for VP)

OK Folks you heard it here first.......(The Liberal Media will be upset to hear this from me again)......

Like it or not .....I do many of my political perditions MONTHS AHEAD of others......(You can check the Statewide newspaper political blogs from the past)......

Example...........While the NY State GOP, George Will & Sean Hannity amoung others said Rudy Guiliani would be a "Major Force" to deal with as a candidate for the US Presidency,..... I told them no way....Giving reasons only insiders would know from inside the campaigns.

Example.........While the NY State GOP & Sean Hannity amoung others said Jean Pirro would be the candidate for US Senate agianst Hillary Clinton, ........I told them no way....Giving reasons only insiders would know from inside the campaigns.

Example...........While the NY State GOP under Joe Bruno was spending our money like crazy, raising taxes and abandoning their Republican core principles...Selling out on Liberal Social Issues important to the base of the Party........I told them the loss of Senate seats were on the way.

(BYW........The NY GOP simply lost focus on the people they represented - Quite frankly & sadly our NY State GOP has "Albany Tunnel Vision" and is out of touch with the people they represent here in NY State)

My final Example.........When Tom Golisano was spending millions of his money on the race for Governor.........I told many that with Roger Stone leading his campaign Golisano would fall flat.
OK......I am going to go on the limb here regarding this Presidential race...

Obama dose NOT get the Traditional 6 point bounce from this Dem convention. Obama will get for the first time in recent political history just little bounce from this convention! (OK maybe 1-2 points! NOT THE 6 everyone & media says he will get)

The Democrats will have proven to have serious troubles ahead as this happens.

Barrack Obama = A "Motivational Speaker who reads off of TelePrompTer's"......

He is an Illinois "State Senator" who did nothing more then pass "Baby Seat Laws, Did Park Dedications and hand out Little League Trophies to Children (That is what "State Senators" do best!)

The public knows Obama is a Liberal and an Unknown with baggage which will come out by the "Underground" in political GOP circles in October.

After being in the United States Senate for just one year this guy then decided he wanted to be President of these United States?
I am NO Hillary supporter by any means, but a least she had some experience. The Dummycrats are proving yet again why they will lose an election in November.
Finally, don't make this into a white/black thing. Middle class American whites in a 95% white district have voted overwhelming for J.C. Watts for Congress in years past. Middle class whites also have a high regard for Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell & Condy Rice in the White House right now.

The final line issue here will be mostly the inexperience of the "Community Activist" of Obama.

I will concede thou, Obama will win if McCain picks a moderate Pro-Choice as his VP today.

I sign my name.....
