Back from the Dead: Hoffmann Could STILL Win

Looks the last week's election between Conservative Doug Hoffmann and Democrat Bill Owens is not over. On Election Night, Hoffmann, who was trailing by 5,300 votes with 93 percent of the vote counted, conceded the race. Owens already took the oath of office and voted for Pelosi/Obamacare last Saturday but the NYS Board of Elections hasn't certified him yet.

The Syracuse Post-Standard is reporting that a "recanvassing" of the votes shows Owens with a much smaller 3,000-vote lead. There are also over 10,000 absentee ballots to count.

If it turns out that Hoffmann is certified the winner, Owens would have to leave Congress.

(I'm sure there will be lawsuits and protests, etc.)
